Parsons Goes Green

Through the cooperation of AGC of Kentucky, Parsons Electric, Inc. participated in the Environmental Protection Agency’s National Clean Diesel Campaign by retrofitting construction diesel equipment to provide cleaner operating diesel engines.

In an effort to cut down on the continuing use of paper, Parsons Electric has implemented a new digital document management system.  All ongoing job information is scanned into a retrieval system whereby all persons needing access to job files can access them on the computer.   Once documents are scanned, those documents are shredded and recycled into paper products.  Documents in the system can be viewed or emailed.  This essentially results in a no paper use job file system.  We continually look for ways to be “Green”.
